Terms and Conditions of Sale

Please read the following carefully.

The use of this site is governed by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT OF SALE as detailed below. Your use of this site or any purchase from the “Tackle Land Online Store” indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Tackle Land reserves the right to make changes to this web site and these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.

Tackle Land is the service provider and is also referred to as “us”, “our” or ”we”. A “Customer” is the person or organisation who purchases or seeks services from Tackle Land; it is also referred to as “you”.

Placing Orders
All orders must be paid by credit card or PayPal. All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Tackle Land. Tackle Land may vary advertised prices and you the “customer” will be advised if there is a variation in charges, prior to the order being confirmed.

To assist in efficiency, orders should be placed using our on-line ordering system. Other ordering types such as email or phone orders are accepted if our on-line ordering system is malfunctioning or you have difficulty using it. Other ordering methods include E-mailing our sales email or submitting an order by phone.

Quantity in stock may not take into account other orders previously placed which are still waiting processing. Every effort will be made by us to advertise “up to date” item quantities but some after-hours orders or stock item discrepancy can also affect the accuracy of the stock status displayed on our web site. It is possible that an order placed earlier will receive the allocation of the part in which the quantity for it showed as in stock at the time of your order.

Order cancellations must be made as soon as possible. Any cancellations after the parcel has been dispatched will result in the customer having to pay the shipping and handling charges occurred in order to ship the package back.

Cancellations must be communicated by email or phone.

Payment
For on-line orders, payments are made by Stripe, credit cards (Visa or Master card only). Acknowledgement of payment receipt will be sent to you prior to the item being dispatched. All goods will only be shipped once full payment has been received by Tackle Land.

Shipping
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Tackle Land will make every effort to deliver on time. Customers are responsible to ensure that their delivery details are correct at the time of the order. Cost for re-delivery as a result or incorrect details may be passed to the customers.

Parcels will be sent via Australia Post or FastWay Courier. Orders with a combined weight of less than 500g will be sent via Australia Post Satchel, all other orders will be sent via FastWay Couriers. Parcels will not be left unattended at a delivery address unless specified by the purchaser. If the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery, a re-delivery advice will be left and it will be the customer’s requirement to organise re-delivery. If the parcel is to be left at an unattended address, an “authority to leave”, must be given at the time of the order. Tackle Land takes no responsibility for parcels that are left unattended.

Shipping times may vary depending on the delivery address. Delivery time estimates are:

  • Brisbane, Sunshine to Gold Coast (1 Day)
  • East Coast Mackay QLD to Wollongong NSW (1 – 2 Days)
  • Victoria, Cairns and Townsville (2 – 3 Days)
  • Adelaide and Tasmania (3 – 7 Days)
  • Perth                                                                         (7 – 10 Days)
  • All other areas (10 – 15 Days)

In Store Pickup
In Store Pickup is available. All In Store Pickup Orders are to be paid for at time of ordering and will be held at Tackle Land for pickup. Photo ID is required for pickup. A second person can be nominated to act on behalf of the purchaser, but these details must be provided during the ordering process.

Pickup address is Tackle Land, 78 Rainbow St, Sandgate QLD 4017.

Returns and Refunds
Items that are missing, damaged or incorrect must be reported to Tackle Land within 24 hours on receipt of delivery. If an item received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered.

Returns for refund will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. Returned goods must be in its unopened and in original condition within the original packaging. Shipping and handling cost are non-refundable. This return for refund policy is not applicable for change of mind, or lack of knowledge on use of product.

Tackle Land owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error. All costs to return these extra goods will be met by Tackle Land.

Warranty Claim
Products sold by Tackle Land come with a warranty to be free from any defects or faults. Goods under warranty cover will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer. No refund can be provided under any circumstances. This warranty is not transferable. Warranty only covers the product(s) sold by Tackle Land.

If the returned goods are determined by Tackle Land to not be faulty, then all returning shipping fees will be worn by the customer. Customers will be contacted and advised of any additional costs prior to the items being returned and to seek permission to charge these cost to their credit card. Failing this, the goods will be sent back by Australia Post COD. Tackle Land reserves the right to charge the customer any labour costs for examining these goods if there is no fault found.

All warrantees will be voided if the returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, incorrectly installed, modified, tampered, abused or physically damaged by the customer. The original invoice is to be enclosed or provide the original invoice number. A description of the issue and/or reason for return needs to be sent together with the returning warranty goods.

The customer is responsible for any shipping and insurance cost involved in sending the warranty claim goods back to Tackle Land. Tackle Land is not responsible for any parcel missing in transit, on its return back to Tackle Land. The customer will be notified on receipt of the parcel and will be provided with an approximate time frame for repair.

Disclaimer
As a result of external unforeseen circumstances that may affect stock availability and/or price stability Tackle Land reserves the right to withdraw any products we advertise or change prices without notice. Prices that are advertised at time of order will be honored. Tackle Land has taken all care to ensure that information published is accurate and correct. Images used are for illustration purposes and actual products may vary. We take care to avoid misprints, human errors, and omissions. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products, and specifications without notice.
