Jake WakefieldSame with the "no fishing" in the under cover/hut on the middle of the pier, people still fish under there, cut there bait up on the tables for family's. Why put signs up when they won't enforce it2 weeks ago · 2
Matthew McleanI'm alright with this as long as it doesn't follow by changing our laws to nsw laws. I'm not paying to wet a line of they don't put fish back in the ocean like we replant trees2 weeks ago
Douglas ForbesI think it is a good idea, place has been left a mess by a majority of people and the the pier wet and slippery. Just fish, keep the place clean and enjoy yourself2 weeks ago · 1
Peter KayeI think the ban was put in place because too many cast netters just leave a bloody mess and not clean up after themselves2 weeks ago · 10

Anthony McKenzieTop stuff to get the family fisho's started. Can I suggest a landing net, one that will reach the water, in your checklist, especially if soft plastics fishing for flathead, they'll shake the hook as soon as their head is out of the water.2 weeks ago · 1

Well oh well what an unusual night on the Shorncliffe Pier. My mate Jeff Whiting caught his very first mantis shrimp. Jason and Dormee caught a hairtail along with a good sized flathead ( one of two around the 55-60 cm mark that were caught ). My continuing battle against the resident bruiser bream was on again. 2-0 to them. ... See MoreSee Less
Greg EvansThe hairtail is an unusual capture, they are usually associated with deep water, though they have been showing up in the canals of the Reddy Peninsula and sunny coast lately. These little ones are only juveniles.....they are really tasty once they get to fully grown 1.5 - 2m specimens.1 month ago · 1
