Lisa WilliamsSad isnt it. We have to think of the future. If we kill or eat the young fish theirs no fish for the next generation and the next. Noone will understand until its to late. Then people will start moaning over that. Thats why the fish measuring tapes were invented....duh 😫 If you dont understand the rulez, then dont fish until you do.3 months ago   ·  1

Douglas ForbesDisgusting and deliberate. Should take their boat, trailer and all gear too. Might need to put the word "no" in front of reason in your sentence, though I know what you mean.3 months ago   ·  2
Merv McnabIt was good to see Fisheries in action on Saturday night at Baxters jetty. They caught a couple of recreational fishermen on the jetty with undersized fish.3 months ago   ·  4
Robert AnderssenAwesome that they are out and about. I remember when they first changed a few rules when I was a boy. It was said then that your boat, trailer and everything in it would be confiscated, as well as your vehicle used to get to the ramp. I've been fishing recently and had people asking why I was letting the fish go. My biggest problem with this is that most of the people who asked this question were not Australian born. More needs to be done to let foreigners know we have size and bag limits. I had to leave early from my fishing as it was making me angry seeing people keeping undersized fish. Random patrols that go to places like Shorncliffe jetty and Nudgee and every other small popular fishing place to start to get the point across, as these people did not want to listen to me.3 months ago

Mark BarlowHad a great day on the jetty yesterday. Got lots of juvenile bream, which are always fun on light tackle (throw backs of course) and bought home a few garfish. There were also flathead and sand crabs about. We also saw a large school of tailor absolutely tear through the shallows and parallel to the jetty (they were decent size too. +35cm). So good to have the jetty back again.4 months ago   ·  2
